MCHENRY: "I am looking forward to my talks here and to my meeting with President Sarkis and other members of the Lebanese Government. The main purpose of this trip is to exchange views. I have always found that first hand contact and first hand observation is of great value. I have worked very closely with Lebanese officials at the United Nations over the last several years and I hope that my discussions here will enable me to carry out my responsibilities there in a more meaningful and effective way."
