    At a joint convocation of Trinity and Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto during the Anglian World Congress in Toronto, Anglican leaders received honorary divinity degrees.Heading the procession was the Archbishop of Canterbury, Doctor Michael Ramsey.

    The archbishop of Namirembe and Metropolitan of the Province of Uganda and Ruanda-Urundi, The Reverend Leslie Wilfred Brown signed the register.

    The Bishop of Calcutta and Metropolitan of the Province of India, Pakistan, Burma and Ceylon, the Reverend Hiyabirindu Lakdasa Jacob De Mel, was robed by the principal of Wycliffe College, The Reverend C.R.H.Wilkinson.

    Then came the Reverend Arthur Carl Lichtenberger, the Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church.

    The next Bishop to be robed was the Reverend James Chang Ling Wong of Jesselton, Borneo.

    The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Reverend Doctor Michael Ramsey also received an honorary divinity degree and was robed.
