    In Kuala Lumpur, Foreign Ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on Monday reached an agreement on the agenda for submission to the summit conference of ASEAN leaders in this week.

    The proposals included the provisional agenda for the summit meeting, the draft communique to be issued at the end of the summit and the post-summit topics to be discussed by the ASEAN heads with the Prime Ministers of Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

    In announcing at a press conference after the Foreign Ministers meeting, the Malaysian Foreign Minister, Tunku Rithauddeen, said there will be three separate joint communique after the talks with Mr. Takeo Fukuda, Mr. Malcolm Fraser and Mr. Robert Muldoon,
    The meeting took only one and half hours to complete two scheduled days of work. However, there was another meeting between the Economic Ministers for preliminary discussions to finalise a us 100 million dollars swap facility agreement to be signed by ASEAN heads, and a load of one billion US dollars from Japan in low-interest to finance the ASEAN industrial projects.
