    THE DEMONSTRATION WAS PLANNED AS A PROTEST AGAINST A RECENT SPEECH IN THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL BY BRITAIN'S DELEGATE SIR PATRICK DEANE, WHEN THE COUNCIL WAS DEBATING THE KASHMIR ISSUE. LEFT-WING AND YOUTH ORGANISATIONS ARE PLANNING A SIMILAR DEMONSTRATION ON MARCH 1.
