The Shah of Persia arrived in Brussels May 11 for a 3-day State visit to Belgium. He was met at the airport by King Baudouin, who presented members of the Government.
Driving into Brussels in a closed car, the Shah was greeted by the Burgomaster and, accompanied by the King, then began a drive through the city in an open car to the Royal Palace.
Later, he laid a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Warrior. He is to visit Antwerp, Liege and the military centre of Elsen-born on the German frontier.
