    The largest-ever shipment of fertilisers form Kuwait to the People's Republic of China was loaded on board the Chinese vessel "Jiujiang" at Kuwait's Shuaiba Harbour this week. The urea fertiliser, exported internationally, goes to more than 40 countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. This official film form the Kuwait Ministry of Information shows the loading of the 13,300-ton consignment onto the Jiujiang.

    SYNOPSIS: The largest-ever consignment of fertiliser to be exported from Kuwait to the People's Republic of China was loaded onto the Chinese vessel "Jiujiang in Shuaiba Harbour on Thursday.

    The fertiliser, 13,300 tons of urea from the Kuwait Chemical Fertiliser Company, will help to meet China's growing need for soil nourishment--agriculture being of prime importance n a country with seven hundred million mouths to feed.

    Kuwait exports fertiliser internationally, including more than 40 countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The country's fertiliser is recognised as a high quality product which conforms to international standards.

    As standards of international agriculture rise to meet the ever-growing need for food, fertilisers are becoming ??? increasing importance-- especially to a country the size of the People's Republic of China.
