    Three car bombs exploded early on Saturday (August 3) in Paris, outside the office of two right wing publications and the offices of the local Jewish Social Fund. a Fourth bomb was defused outside the television studies of ORTF, the state owned broadcasting organisation.

    The bombs which slightly injured three people and shattered windows went off within 30 minutes of each other in different parts of the capital.

    Police said the damage was fairly substantial. No-one has so far claimed responsibility.

    The first blast hit the offices of the right wing daily "L'Aurore", known for its support for Israel. Two passersby were hurt by flying glass; Twenty five minutes later a car bomb exploded outside the offices of the weekly "Minute". The third bomb shook the offices of the Jewish Social Fund, an educational and welfare organisation.

    The vehicles used in the attacks were rented form a Paris car hire firm, by a man described as a well dressed foreigner.
