The gleaning red aircraft of the Queen's Flight, came to a halt, an the band played, the people cheered, and the Queen Mother stepped out to carry out the usual reception.........
The sequence of shots follow the above, with close ups of shifts and their clothiers, the lion teeth, the hats, the suits, and the children... Followed by a few shots from Aikula Hill and of the Queen Mother climbing the hill and looking at Nyasaland, over an area which was not long ago a trouble spot. There was no doubt that amongst the thousands of Africans who cheered her arrival, were many leaders who had been in prison or avoided prison, but who were leaders, and still are, of subversive organisations, but they all gave the queen Mother a great reception. On the hill top she looked over the country with binoculars.
