THERE, DR. KAUNDA HAD A BRIEF TALKS WITH MR. ARTHUR BOTTOMLEY -- THE COMMONWEALTH SECRETARY. LATER, THE PRESIDENT DROVE TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE WHERE HE WAS RECEIVED BY QUEEN ELIZABETH.

    DR. KAUNDA IS ON A TOUR OF SEVERAL WORLD CAPITALS. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF HIS TRIP IS TO SEEK FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL AID -- MOSTLY FOR ZAMBIA'S AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMME. WHILE IN LONDON DR. KAUNDA IS TO MEET BRITAIN'S NEW PRIME MINISTER, MR. HAROLD WILSON.

    NEXT STOP ON DR. KAUNDA'S TOUR WILL BE DUBLIN -- WHERE HE WILL MEET IRISH LEADERS. OTTAWA AND WASHINGTON ARE ALSO ON HIS ITINERARY -- AND A VISIT TO SCANDINAVIA WILL END THE TOUR.

    DR. KAUNDA STAYS IN LONDON UNTIL NOVEMBER 21ST.
