MR. ZEIDAN: "This struggle of the Cypriot people is our struggle. We are in the same position -- fighting against American imperialism and agents in the area of the Israelis, who play a very dirty role against us and the sovereignty of the state of Cyprus."
MR. KYRANOVA: "Really our workers' movement is very much concerned about events which happened in Cyprus -- this big tragedy of the Cyprus people. We always were in support with the solidarity of the peace-loving democratic forces in Cyprus, and always supported and defended their fight for integrity, sovereignty and independence of the island against all kinds of plots of the imperialist forces, especially NATO and the U.S.A."
MME, HALLER "We could not remain distant when the Cypriot people, involved in this struggle, are like brothers to us. So I am really very happy that the people of Angola are represented here today in solidarity with the Cypriot people."
