    SHE WAS NAMED BY THE WIFE OF A BRITISH PETROLEUM COMPANY OFFICIAL, OWNERS OF THE SHIP. WITH THE LAUNCHING, JOHN BROWN'S SHIPYARDS WILL BE LEFT WITH FOUR OF ITS SIX BUILDING BERTHS EMPTY.

    THE YARD'S DIRECTOR HAS WARNED OF BIG SCALE REDUNDANCIES LATER THIS YEAR UNLESS NEW ORDERS ARE LAID. ABOUT 5,000 MEN ARE EMPLOYED AT THE YARDS.
