  • Description

The Beer Quintuplets born at a Chicago hospital in the United States on January the 8th are reported to be doing well.

The babies, three girls and two boys who weighed at birth between one pound 11 ounces (about 0.7 kgs) and three pounds (about 1.4 kgs), were born one months premature.

They were born to 26-year-old Mrs. Lynn Baer at Highland Hospital in Chicago and later transferred to nearby Evanstown Hospital.

Mrs. Baer had taken a fertility drug and had expected a multiple birth, but not quintuplets.
