    HE WAS CROWNED WITH A GEM-STUDDED GOLD AND SILVER TIARA-SPECIALLY MADE BY THE CRAFTSMAN OF MILAN FOR THEIR FORMER ARCHBISHOP. IT WAS PLACED ON HIS HEAD BY CARDINAL ALFREDO OTTAVIANI, SENIOR CARDINAL DEACON.
