    ALSO FILMED ON THURSDAY WAS A VISIT BY MR.GHULAM RASOOL KAR, KASHMIR'S TRANSPORT MINISTER, TO AREAS NEAR HAJI PIR PASS SAID TO HAVE BEEN CAPTURED BY THE INDIAN ARMY.MR.GHULAM RASOOL WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A GROUP OF CIVIL ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS, JOURNALISTS AND POLITICAL WORKERS.

    HUNDREDS OF VILLAGERS TURNED OUT TO GREET THE VISITORS.MR.GHULAM RASOOL, DISTRIBUTED CLOTH TO MANY OF THEM AND CALLED ON THEM TO SURRENDER ANY ARMS AND AMMUNITION THAT THE PAKISTAN FORCES MAY HAVE LEFT WITH THEM.SEVERAL VILLAGERS ARE SEEN HANDING THEIR RIFLES IN.

    MANY VILLAGERS HAD THEIR SAVINGS CHANGED FROM PAKISTAN TO INDIAN MONEY.

    (THE LATEST NEWS OF THE FIGHTING IN KASHMIR TODAY (SATURDAY) IS THAT PAKISTAN CLAIMS THAT HER TROOPS AND AZAD ("FREE") KASHMIR FORCES HAVE CROSSED THE RIVER TAWI IN THE CHAMB AREA OF INDIAN-HELD KASHMIR AND ADVANCED FIVE MILES BEYOND THE RIVER LINE.
