  • Description

Fourteen-year-old American violin prodigy Dylana Jenson is making her debut as a concert artist in Europe. Since she was eleven, Dylana has played with major orchestras and astonished audiences throughout the United States and Latin America.

She gave her first European recital in Zurich on May 11 to stamping ovations and shouts of bravo. She has since been engaged as a soloist with conductor Jean Martinon at the Frankfurt Opera House on June 1 and 2. In addition she has a full schedule of appearances on stage and television in France and Germany.

Music critics and conductors of international standing have called Dylana Jenson a truly remarkable prodigy and a genius. At 12 years, she performed three concerts with the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Centre. The conductor, Andre Kostelanetz said the musicians considered her the best young violinist they had over seen, heard or worked with.

Dylana Jenson, born in Los Angeles, began studying the violin at the age of two. A year later, she was playing Mozart and Bach.

Critics already regard her as a great concert artist who is heading for a big career.
