    THE PARTY WAS FLOWN IN A SMALL PIPER TRIPACER AIRCRAFT TO LABUAN BY THEIR OWN MISSIONARY PILOT. THEY DECIDED TO LEAVE LAWAS TO AVOID TROUBLE AMONG THE LOCAL MURUT TRIBES. THE MURUTS SAID THEY WOULD FIGHT IF THE REBELS ATTEMPTED TO HARM THE EUROPEANS MISSIONARIES.
