So I started out the inner office door, and there's about three stairs going down, and I hit I don't know which step, one, two or three, but I know that was when I first felt pain. Up till then I had no sensation at all.
I kept saying if I fall I won't be able to crawl that far, and then I was in so much pain and I said isn't anyone going to help me. So I bit my lip so I wouldn't cry, and I just started walking like you do when you're kids and play games. I just put one foot and then the other foot, put one foot and then the other foot, and that's how I walked.
Somewhere between the inner office and going out the billwalk, I must have been walking in a state of almost unconsciousness because I don't remember hitting air. I don't really remember hitting the sidewalk. I remember seeing a light and they seemed like they were awful dim, you know, that they didn't look like train lights at all ... indistinct...And then I remember feeling a falling sensation.
When I became aware laying on the sidewalk, and I was angry because I was behind a parked car, I had fallen behind a parked car. And I could hear cars going by me on Blue Avenue, you know like they make ??? whew, whew and I was yelling "Help", but the people couldn't hear me, it probably was me, I wasn't yelling as loud as I thought I was yelling.
But that was not what made me mad, what made me mad was that I couldn't move and I knew I was behind a parked car and they could not see me. And it was just like I wanted to pull myself from the sidewalk to the curb, so I could pull myself onto the street, and I couldn't move; and I said Gee, this is so stupid Ronald, you can't even move from behind this car.
The next thing I knew there were a commotion of people, and then I could hear...indistinct.
