  • Description

This is the first film released by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) of the thousands of feet shot by Astronautic John Young and Charles Duke during the Apollo-16 moon ???ion. These sequences, taken on April 20 and 21, show desc??? and landing of the lunar module on the surface of the moon in the mountainous Descartes Highland region; the two astronauts setting up their camera on the lunar rover and then travelling along the moon's surface in the rover.

The filming rats is very slow and results in some jerkiness when transmitted at normal projection speed - this is particularly noticeable in sequence (3) in which they are setting up the camera on rover.
