    The Kuwaiti Minister of Industry and Commerce -- Khalid Al-Adassani -- arrived at Doha on Sunday (9th April) for a 24-hour visit.

    He was greeted at the airport by Qatari officials, including Minister a Commerce and Economy Sheikh Nasser Bin Khalid Al-Thani. The two Ministers were later to hold talks concerning the facilitation of commerce between Arab States.

    The question of mutual development had previously been discussed at an Industrial Development Conference held in Kuwait last October by Ministers on the Arab League -- of which Qatar became a member shortly after ???claring its independence in September last year.

    SYNOPSIS: Doha Airport -- where this week an aircraft brought to Qatar the Kuwaiti Minister of Industry and Commerce -- Khalid Al-Adassani.

    A group of leading Qataris were there to meet the Kuwaiti Minister as he stepped down from the aircraft, including his Qatari counterpart -- Minister of Commerce and Economy Sheikh Nasser Bin Khalid Al-Thani.

    Government House in Doha was next on the agenda for the Kuwaiti Minister. There he was greeted by the Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Suhaim Bin Hamad Al-Thani. After the formal greeting they settled down for talks. Khalid Al-Adassani came to Qatar to discuss ways and means of increasing the flow of trade and finance between Arab States. The decision to increase commercial links had already been taken at a meeting of Arab League Ministers at a Conference held in Kuwait last October.
