    Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi told international pressmen on Saturday (15 June) that her country was willing to see a ban on all atomic tests if all other countries also accepted it.

    She was answering questions at a luncheon meeting of the Foreign Correspondents Association. She also offered to share India's nuclear technology with Pakistan in the same way that Now Delhi does with other nations with which the Government has agreements for the peaceful use of atomic energy.

    India, which exploded its first nuclear device underground four weeks ago, opposed the forthcoming French nuclear tests because it was against testing in the atmosphere, she added.

    Mrs. Gandhi also noted that India had not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty because it discriminated in favour of the big powers.

    Mrs. Gandhi was welcomed to the luncheon by Mr. Myron Belkind, who said:-
    SYNOPSIS: The luncheon was hosted by the Foreign Correspondents Association in Delhi on Saturday, where Mrs. Gandhi was asked about Indian's policy towards nuclear test bans.
