    A leading black South African nationalist has thanked the Soviet Union for its support for national liberation movements in the third world. Mr. Alfred Nzo, General Secretary of South Africa's banned African National Congress was in Moscow for talks.

    SYNOPSIS: Mr. Nzo addressed a news conference shortly after his arrival from Sri Lanka where he'd been at the Non-Aligned Conference. He said the support of the third world and the socialist countries was helping to increase the isolation of the Pretoria government. But he was critical of western nations.
