VILLAGERS ABANDONED THEIR HOMES AND SPENT THE NIGHT IN MOUNTAIN VILLAGES NEARBY.EIGHT PEOPLE WERE INJURED, BUT THERE ARE NO REPORTS OF DEATHS.HOWEVER, MANY OF THE PEOPLE WHO EVACUATED THE AREA, HAVE SINCE REFUSED TO RETURN BECAUSE THEY FEAR THE DANGER OF ANOTHER SIMILAR WAVE.
