    King Hussein of Jordan and President Ayub Khan on Friday ended a series of discussions on the situation in the Middle East.

    The Jordanian monarch spent two days in Pakistan, conferring with President Ayub on matters affecting the Middle East, and Moslem nations.

    President Ayub, described by King Hussein as being in a unique position in the Arab world, has given King Hussein an assurance of Pakistan's support in solving the Middle East situation.

    In their final meeting the two leaders held discussions for forty minutes in private. They are reported to have reviewed various proposals for peace in the Middle East, including the plans made by President Tito of Yugoslavia and the United Nations Secretary General, U Thant.

    The discussions were also reported to have covered trade relations between Pakistan and Jordan.
