  • Description

Roger Casement who was executed by the British in 1916, and his body still lies in an English grave. For 40 years Ireland have asked the British government to hand over his body, but without any luck. When Casement was a young man, he spent more of his boyhood days playing in the mountains and around beautiful Murlough Bay, Co. Antrim. His last wish was to rest in an Irish grave in Murlough Bay, and not to leave him in England.

For the past 40 years people from all over Ireland have gone to this Bay, and placed wreaths at the empty grave which they still hold for his body when it's returned.
