    Bill Tilden, one of the greatest tennis players the world has known, was the first American to win Wimbledon in 1920. He repeated the feat a year later and again in 1930. Films of his exploits are among the many items of tennis memorabilia housed in America's International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island -considered to be the home of American tennis, and the hall contains hundred of historic trophies, antique rackets and clothing worn by tennis players since the modern version of game was invented in England more than a hundred years ago.

    SYNOPSIS: The Hall and its significance was explained by its director, Colonel Robert Day, to Anthony Steward, of Visnews.
