  • Description

Charlie, a chimpanzee hailing from Spanish Guinea, is currently helping Bongo, an Alsatian dog from Germany, cope with a litter of ten puppies - born in the house of the Sternson family, Copenhagen, Denmark.

It didn't take Charlie long to appreciate that Bongo would never be able to feed those ten ravening little mouths - so each day he goes to the dairy, collects the milk, and brings it home to warm up. There's nothing haphazard about Charlie's preparations, either. He stirs the milk carefully, and tests it to ensure it's neither too hot nor too cold. In fact, Charlie, once a tree-dweller in West Africa, is a very useful fellow to have around a Danish home.
