SYNOPSIS: In Brazil, the eleventh Sao Paulo bienal art exhibition opened on Saturday
Artists from 56 countries exhibited their works.

The exhibition this year includes a large number of prints in various media, including photography. This Brazilian exhibit won a special prize put up by Volkswagon.

This is the entry from Spain that won the grand prize of the exhibition, worth 10,000 dollars. The artist is Rafael Canogar.

The exhibition has not been prepared purely for the Bienal but is designed to tour extensively in Latin America. The exhibition will go on tour when the Bienal ends in November.

With this exhibit David Aspden won an honourable mention. It's emphasis on variety of colour is typical of the exhibition.
