U.S. Secretary of State, Dr. Hanry Kissinger, arrived in Egypt on Wednesday (November 7th) for talks with President Sadat on the Middle East conflict. After three hours of discussions he said 'I think we are moving towards paces.'
Dr. Kissinger has been touring the Middle East in an attempt to strengthen the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Egypt into a lasting peace. The results of his meeting with President Sadat were reported very satisfactory. Afterwards an official statement said the two countries will soon resume diplomatic relations which broken off during the 1967 War.
Dr. Kissinger would not say whether the United States would go on supplying Israel with arms.
