    MODEL DESIGN GENERALLY SHOWED LITTLE CHANGE FROM 1969 ALTHOUGH SEVERAL MANUFACTURERS DISPLAYED PRODUCTS THAT WERE PURELY EXPERIMENTS IN BOTH DESIGN AND MECHANICS. AMONG THEM TOYOTA'S EX-3 AND THE 1300-X FROM HONDA. PERFORMANCE FIGURES FOR THESE MODELS WERE NOT DISCLOSED.

    FOR SPORTS CAR ENTHUSIASTS, THERE WERE THE NISSAN FAIR LADY Z, A 2,000 c.c. MODEL WHICH WON THE JAPAN GRAND PRIX LAST MONTH, AND THE ISUZU 117 COUPE WHICH FEATURED RETRACTABLE HEADLAMPS.

    TOYO MOTORS, WHICH IS CONCENTRATING PRODUCTION AROUND ROTARY ENGINES, DISPLAYED A ROTARY ENGINE COUPE, AIMED AT THE EXPORT MARKET.

    MORE THAN SEVEN HUNDRED VEHICLES, RANGING FROM MOTORCYCLES TO LUXURY SEDANS AND LORRIES, ARE BEING EXHIBITED AT THE SHOW WHICH RUNS TO THE 6TH OF NOVEMBER.
