    SOME FOUR THOUSAND PEOPLE TURNED UP WITH THE RULING PEOPLE'S ACTION PARTY FLAGS AND PRO-MALAYSIA BANNERS TO GIVE THE PREMIER A ROUSING SEND OFF.
    THEN AFTER A LONG CHAT WITH CABINET AND CONSULAR MEMBERS, WHO WERE PRESENT AT THE AIRPORT, PREMIER LEE MOUNTED AN AIRLINE GANGWAY ON THE APRON TO ADDRESS THE CROWD.
