SYNOPSIS: Strict security precautions were taken as the Greek leaders made their way to Athens Cathedral to attend a service for the fourth anniversary of the Army revolution. Steel helmeted troops lined the streets from the Regency mansion as General Zoitakis, escorted by a military police motorcade drove to the Cathedral.

A few Athenians and some tourists watched the arrival of the Regent and the Cabinet, led by Deputy Premier Stylianos Pattakos.

The anniversary day wasn't without its incidents. In the early hours of the morning a bomb slightly damaged offices in a block of flats next to the Ministry of the Interior. No one was injured. Police believe the bomb was the work of underground organisations.

During a message to the nation, Premier George Papadopoulos called on the country's armed forces to maintain their decisiveness and solidarity in order to safeguard the fulfilment of the aims of the revolution.
