    HE DESCRIBES HIMSELF AS "A FRONT MAN FOR A PROTEST AGAINST LORD HOME AND THE WAY HE HAS BEEN PICKED AS PREMIER".HE WILL BE STANDING AS AN INDEPENDENT - "IF YOU WANT TO BASH HOME, THEN VOTE FOR ME".THE LABOUR, LIBERAL AND SCOTTISH NATIONALIST PARTIES WILL ALSO BE CONTESTING THE ELECTION.IN THE GENERAL ELECTION, THE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE WON WITH A MAJORITY OF MORE THAN 12,000.
