    The Commander of the British Home Fleet, Admiral Sir JOHN FREWEN, has paid a good will visit to Leningrad.

    The Admiral ceremoniously came down from abroad the British Navy destroyer Devonshire to pay a call to Admiral Baikov, in charge of the seaport of Leningrad.

    On the same day Admiral Frewen, accompanied by Captain Leslie and naval officers paid a call to the Mayor of Leningrad, Mr. Sizev.

    The Mayor presented the Admiral with a memorial medal and an album of photographs featuring Leningrad.

    The British Admiral cordially thanked for the warm reception and conveyed heartfelt greetings to the residents of the city.

    The Commander of the British Home Fleet, Admiral Sir John Frewen, accompanied by the Leningrad Naval Commander, Admiral Baikov, and officers of the Devonshire destroyer, visited the Leningrad Piskaryove cemetery to lay a wreath on the grave of the heroic defenders of Leningrad.
