    THE DELEGATION WAS LED BY THE HEAD OF THE NIGERIAN NAVY, COMMODORE WEY. ALSO AMONG THE GROUP WERE MAJOR JOHNSON, MILITARY ADMINISTRATOR OF LAGOS, LIEUTENANT-COLONEL HARUNA, THE PRINCIPAL STAFF OFFICER OF THE SUPREME HEADQUARTERS, AND MAJOR ESUENE, OF THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCE.

    AT THE STATE HOUSE LATER THE VISITORS SIGNED THE BOOK OF CONDOLENCE ON THE DEATH OF GENERAL KOTOKA.

    COMMODORE WEY SAID NIGERIANS WERE TERRIBLY SHOCKED BY THE NEWS OF THE GENERAL'S DEATH.

    GENERAL KOTOKA LAST YEAR LED THE MILITARY COUP WHICH OUSTED PRESIDENT KWAME NKRUMAH FROM GHANA. THE GENERAL WAS OFFICER COMMANDING THE GHANA ARMED FORCES AND NLC MEMBER RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFENCE, HEALTH, LABOUR AND SOCIAL WELFARE AT THE TIME OF HIS DEATH.
