    HIS CREMATION -- ENDING ONE HUNDRED DAYS OF MOURNING -- CAME IN THE MIDDLE OF A BITTER DISPUTE OVER HIS VAST ESTATE, VALUES ABOUT 216,000 POUNDS STERLING. THE DISPUTE IS AMONG HIS RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.

    HIS WIDOW, MADAME THANPUYING VICHITRA, STOOD AT A ROAD JUNCTION WITH HER MOTHER TO WATCH THE PROCESSION PASS BEFORE DRIVING AHEAD TO THE CREMATORIUM.

    THAILAND'S KING AND QUEEN WERE AMONG THOSE WHO PAID THEIR LAST RESPECTS.
