After leaving the Koubbeh Palace, Presidents Choukri Kuwatly drove in an open car through the main streets accompanied by President Nasser. They arrived subsequently at the Council of Ministers where the two leaders signed the agreement of Union.
After he signing, the President of the Council of Ministers broadcast an announcement of the inauguration to the country.
