The Shah of Iran is preparing to play host to the United States Secretary of State, Doctor Henry Kissinger at a luncheon near his St. Moritz retreat. The Shah, who usually goes to the villa at this time of year, has made it a working holiday on this occasion. He has already entertained President Leopold Senghor of Senegal, and on Monday (February 10) received King Hussein of Jordan.
The King was accompanied by a few members of his personal staff.A spokesman for the Shah said King Hussein would spend about four or five days at the luxury villa. He stressed that there would be no political discussions. It was a private holiday and no more.
Officials said the Shah and Doctor Kissinger would meet over lunch at a Zurich hotel. The discussion would centre on the question of oil and prospects for a Middle East peace agreement.
