    MORE THAN 250 DELEGATES FROM AFRICA, ASIA AND EUROPE ATTENDED THE SECOND CONGRESS OF THE CONGO BRAZZAVILLE UNIONS' CONFEDERATION IN BRAZZAVILLE ON TUESDAY (28 MARCH). PRESIDENT ALPHONSE MASSAMBA-DEBAT WAS AMONG THE SPEAKERS.

    THE CONGRESS WAS HELD IN THE CITY HALL. THE FIRST SUCH MEETING WAS HELD IN 1964 TO DISCUSS THE PROBLEM OF UNIFYING THE CONGOLESE UNIONS.

    M. PAUL BANTOU, CHAIRMAN OF THE CONFEDERATION, WELCOMED DELEGATES AND, IN HIS SPEECH, STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF FINDING SOLUTIONS TO THE WORKERS' PROBLEMS.

    THE PRESIDENT, FOR HIS PART, DECLARED THAT THE WORKERS MOST UNITE AGAINST IMPERIALISM.

    AFTER THE MEETING, DELEGATED WERE ENTERTAINED BY DANCERS.
