    THE BULGARIAN PRIME MINISTER, MR. TODOR ZHIVKOV, ARRIVED IN ANKARA LAST TUESDAY FOR AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO TURKEY. MR. ZHIVKOV'S VISIT IS SEEN AS A CONTRIBUTION TO THE STRENGTHENING OF PEACE IN THE BALKANS. THE BULGARIAN PRIME MINISTER WAS WELCOMED AT ANKARA AIRPORT BY TURKEY'S PREMIER, MR. CEVDET SUNDY.

    THE VISITING PARTY OF 30 INCLUDED THE BULGARIAN FOREIGN MINISTER, MR. IVAN BAZHEV, THE MINISTER FOR ENERGY, MR. KONSTANTIN POPOV AND THE MINISTER FOR JUSTICE, MRS. SVELTA DASKALOVA. THE SAME DAY, THE BULGARIANS VISITED THE TOMB OF THE FATHER OF MODERN TURKEY, KEMAL ATATURK.

    OFFICIALS IN ANKARA SAY THERE ARE NO OUTSTANDING POLITICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES AND TALKS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE OVER GENERAL QUESTIONS. THE BULGARIAN AND TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTERS ARE EXPECTED TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT, WHICH WOULD OPEN THE WAY TO THE RESETTLEMENT OF ABOUT 25-THOUSAND TURKS IN BULGARIA WHOM TURKEY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE BACK.
