Background: A GOOD PUBLIC HOUSE NEEDS A GOOD LANDLORD -- ONE WHO MAKES HIS CUSTOMERS FEEL AT HOME, AND WHO GETS ON WELL WITH THEM. AT TOTTENHAM, IN NORTH LONDON, A BREWING COMPANY RECENTLY BEGAN WHAT IT CALLS A UNIQUE EXPERIMENT - A MIXTURE OF SOUND BUSINESS SENSE AND INTEGRATION IN ONE OF THEIR PUBLIC HOUSES. TOTTENHAM IS A LIVELY BOROUGH WITH A LARGE COLOURED POPULATION, AND THE BREWERY HAS INSTALLED A JAMAICAN, ANCEL LEWARDS, AND HIS WIFE AS HOSTS.

THE LANDLORD AND TWO OF HIS CUSTOMERS WERE INTERVIEWED BY A REPORTER.
