Inside Bangla Desh liberated areas extending gradually and villagers who fleed away from those areas again coming back and leading normal lives. Such an area was Kashipur village under Saharsa Police Station in Jessore District. It is about three or four miles inside Bangla Desh from Indian border. In this sector, according to a spokesman of the Bangla Desh Mukti Fauz, 200 villages within 100 square mile are under control of Bangla Desh Mukti Fauz. At Kashipur village I saw four foreign journalists who were allowed to enter inside Bangla Desh under proper visas given by Mukti Fauz men on behalf of Bangla Desh Government. They endorsed and sealed Bangla Desh seals in the foreigners passports. Pakistan Army left this village about month ago and while going they burnt many housed and shops including one border out post. There were enough signs of normal life at Kashipur village. It was a weekly market day yesterday and hundreds of villagers came there to sell or buy food grains and vegetables. Bullock carts now moving freely in the village for transportation of commodities from one place to another. During the market hours yesterday the foreign journalists were also taken there by a group of Mukti Fauz men under Captain Huda with glass) who is the incharge of this sector. During their visit the foreign journalists met a group of villagers including some students who started shouting slogans in favour of Sekh Mujib, Bangla Desh and condemned the America ??? Government for Arms Supply to Pakistan. Captain Huda Showed some of the captured Chinese and American weapons they sieged from the Pakistan Army. The weapons and the wireless transmitters captured by the Mukti Fauz are now in use by the Mukti Fauz men in their fights with Pakistan Army.
