Background: A 13-year-old French Boy, who stowed away on an aircraft from Sydney in Australia without passport or ticket, is now living in Paris.
Immigration and airline officials are still wondering how the boy -- Charles Todman --- managed to make the trip without being discovered. His family had emigrated to Australia last year and his father, Mr Paul Todman, said Charles had been depressed because his lack of fluent English made progress at school difficult. The boy went missing from home last Saturday and the parents learned on Tuesday that he was safe in France.
Charles, one of six children, is now staying with friends in Paris and had made an attempt to fly to France on a previous occasion. He was lucky the second time and now father is landed with the problem of finding money to bring him home.
