    EDUCATION MINISTERS FROM FOUR COUNTRIES MET IN ALGIERS YESTERDAY FOR THE OPENING OF AN EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE WHICH IS TO DISCUSS THE TRAINING OF TEACHERS, THE TEACHING OF THE ARAB LANGUAGE AND OTHER MUTUAL PROBLEMS.

    THE FOUR COUNTRIES TAKING PART IN THE CONFERENCE ARE ALGERIA, TUNISIA, LIBYA AND MOROCCO. THE CONFERENCE WILL GO ON UNTIL APRIL 30 IN THE UNIVERSITY OF ALGIERS.

    THE CONFERENCE WAS PRESIDED OVER BY THE ALGERIAN MINISTER OF EDUCATION, DR AHMED TALEB. PRINCIPAL DELEGATES FROM THE OTHER COUNTRIES WERE THE TUNISIAN MINISTER, MAHMOUD MESSADI, THE MINISTER FROM LIBYA, MUSTAPHA BAYOU AND THE MOROCCAN UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE OF EDUCATION, NASSER EL FASSI.

    THE FOUR EDUCATION MINISTERS HOPE TO FIND WAYS OF CO-OPERATING IN THE PROCESSES OF EDUCATION IN THEIR COUNTRIES AND TO EVOLVE METHODS OF TEACHING COMMON TO THEM ALL.
