TRANSCRIPT: SEQ. 6: REPORTER: "You have stated that the Cambodian Army is still very weak. How long do you think, at the present rate, the South Vietnamese military forces will have to assist the Cambodian forces?"

GENERAL TRI: "Of course we help them and are with them now we are in their territory. But the question is very difficult for me to answer, because it's a problem between the two Government to see how to assist the Cambodian Army. It's not for me as Field Commander to take care of this problem."

REPORTER: "Assuming you push the North Vietnamese and Vietcong into North East Cambodia and Southern laos--are your troops prepared to pursue them to those areas?"

GENERAL TRI: "It's not my responsibility to make such pursuits of persons. I'm mobilising only in my three Corps area of responsibility."
