    The interview was attended by the Crowd Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed, the Defence Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, Chief of Staff His Excellency Lt. General Awad A-Khalidi, Commander of Western Military region Colonel His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed, the French Ambassador to the state His Excellency Paul Martin and the UAE Ambassador to France His Highness Sa'id Salman.

    WAM reported today that His Excellency the guest Minister conveyed to His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan the congratulation of President Gisgard Distan and the people of France on the occasion of the 6th National Day.

    WAM added that France appreciates the positive role played by UAE in supporting Arab solidarity and the outstanding features of progress and development in UAE under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Zayed.

    His Highness the President hailed the fair attitudes taken by the French government towards developing constructive efforts for the sake of justice, peace and man welfare and the UAE hope of seeking continuing efforts for the Arab European dialogue.
