Background: Muhammed Ali, the former World Heavyweight Champion, is currently undergoing intensive training in a backwoods retreat at Deer Lake, Pennsylvania, for his rematch with Joe Frazier on January 28th in New York's Madison Square Garden.
Ali must win the match with Frazier if he is to continue his bid to hold his place in the boxing world. His last match, in October, was an easy victory over Dutchman Rudi Lubbers in their bout in Djakarta. But with losses to Joe Frazier and Ken Norton before that, the January fight is a must for Ali.
Ali is now 31, for a boxer who once startled the world with his agility in the ring, that is not young. He is taking his training seriously and does not intend to have the decision go against him. He still maintains that he deserved to win his first contest against Frazier.
