    Teuve Lansivouri of Finland won the 350 C.C. event in the Spanish Motor-Cycle Grand Prix in Jarma today (September 26), riding a Yahama. His time for the 38 lap 80-mile (130 km) event one hour, 10 minutes, 23.8 seconds. The meeting was the 11th and final leg of the 1971 championships series, and VISNEWS cameraman Mike Gore was there to film Lansivouri's victory.

    SYNOPSIS: Jarma, Spain -- and the Spanish Motor-Cycle Grand Prix on Sunday, 11th and last leg of the 1971 world championship series. This was the 350 c.c. event, closely contested by top riders from Switzerland, Holland, Italy and Finland.

    Earlier, in the 50 c.c. event, Jan de Varies of Holland won the world championship for the class at an average speed of 62.09 miles per hour (99.97 kph) in the 38-mile (61.278 km) race. He was riding a Kreidler. Second was Jarno Saarinen of Finland, also on a Kreidler, and third Hernan Meyer of Holland on a Yamathi. Defending champion Angel Nieto, from Spain, crashed on the first lap.

    In the 350 c.c, which was run at 38 laps over 80 miles (130 kms) it was a runaway victory for the Japanese-built Yahamas, which captured the first five places. Winner was Teuve Lansivouri of Finland with a time of one hour, ten minutes, 23.8 seconds. Kurt Carlsson of Switzerland was second, and Werner Pfirter, also of Switzerland, was third.
