    Admiral Sir Alexander Bingley, Commander-in-Chief British Mediterranean Fleet, after having completed his formal visits to Greek Officials, invited the Greek and Foreign Journalists aboard his flagship, the HMS "Surprise" for a Press Conference. Admiral Bingley after having expressed his joy and satisfaction for the re-establishment of the greco-british friendly relations and the co-operation of the Greek and British Navies, he answered to questions raised by local and foreign correspondents. The HMS "Surprise" lead into Phaleron Bay a British Naval Squadron yesterday for a 6-day visit. Admiral Bingley replying to q posed question unveiled that there are some 12 soviet submarines in the Mediterranean and a number of surface ships getting their supplies from albanian ports. He also revealed in another answer that the British Mediterranean Fleet is in a position to face nuclear warfare. Questioned about the missile bases in Greece, Admiral Bingley said that he is definitely pro any defensive measure of this country. Finally Admiral Bingley expressed his happiness, for very soon (probably next month) naval manoeuvres will take place in the Aegean and for the first time the Greek and Turkish Navy will take part in them with the British.
