THE PEOPLE OF MOUNT CITY THOUGHT THIS WOULD DESTROY MOUND CITY'S TRADE AND CAUSE THE SHIFT OF OTHER OFFICIALS AND SERVICES TO HERREID.

    LATEST MOVE BY THE PEOPLE OF MOUND CITY HAS BEEN TO PADLOCK THE RECORDS OF THE AGRICULTURAL STABILIZATION AND CONSERVATION SERVICES AND BARRICADE PARTS OF THE TOWN AND BARRICADE OF THE TOWN WITH SANDBAGS.
