    Brazil's soccer team - reigning World Champions - had an unexpectedly hard task to master Denmark by 4 goals to 3 in an international match at Copenhagen, May 10.

    After five minutes play the Danes went ahead through centreforward Nielsen; Brazil's inside-left Quarantinha levelled the score after 25 minutes. Again Denmark took the lead, through inside-left Enoksen and again they were pegged back, this time by the internationally - famous centre-forward Pele.

    In the second half, Brazil's class told, and they scored two goals to Denmark's one; nevertheless the home team had put up a very fine performance against a highly rated team.

    At the beginning of their tour, the Brazilians played and beat Egypt 6-3, and on May 8 in Malmo, beat Sweden by seven goals to two:
